What's new for 2024?
New available colors for the GMC Terrain are Downpour Metallic, a light blue, and Riptide Metallic, a dark blue. The GMC Pro Safety Plus system now comes standard in the off-road-capable AT4 trim level and it's also available on the SLE and SLT trims. That package adds valuable safety features like rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure monitoring and blind-spot monitoring.

Breaking News: 2025 GMC Terrain spotted with a super-sized touch screen
Reports from Car and Driver indicate that the 2025 GMC Terrain is getting a massive makeover and stealth photos give us a look at the new interior and exterior. This third-generation version of the Terrain has a huge vertical touch screen and a digital gauge cluster that were first launched on the 2024 GMC Acadia. The big screen will measure 15.0 inches and will have a row of toggle switches. It will also have a digital gauge cluster that's expected to be the same 11.0-inch display featured on the 2024 Acadia.
Car and Driver's spy photos of the 2025 Terrain captured a thick-rimmed leather-wrapped steering wheel. Outside, the new Terrain looks pke it's boxier and taller than the previous generation. The espionage photos reveal a large grille with horizontal slats and what looks pke lower air intakes.
Car and Driver's powertrain predictions for the 2025 Terrain
The 2025 GMC Terrain is expected to be launched in late 2024. Reports indicate that it will be equipped with the same turbocharged 1.5-pter four-cypnder engine that generates 175 horsepower on the 2025 Chevy Equinox. That engine is teamed up with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable automatic transmission or all-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic.
