THE CHEVROLET COLORADO TAKES ON THE NEW KID ON THE BLOCK - AND SHOWS IT WHAT IT REALLY MEANS TO BE A TRUCK DRIVERS CAN COUNT ON
The Chevrolet Colorado has been a mainstay on the roads for years. A reliable, dependable truck from the legendary Chevy lineup, it's the perfect solution for Vermont drivers who want the utility and capability of a pickup, but don't necessarily require the full-sized towing and payload capacity of the larger Chevy Silverado lineup. If you're in the market for an easy-to-drive vehicle with pickup truck style, stop by and visit us at Key Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of South Burlington to meet this versatile model in person.

The Chevy Colorado is a mid-sized pickup truck that can easily fit into most parking spots and is easy to navigate and maneuver in Burlington, VT traffic. Like other pickups in the Chevy lineup, the Colorado is available in multiple cab styles and bed length combinations. It also gives you a great range of options for engine power and trim level.

While we think the Colorado is the perfect light-duty truck for our customers from South Burlington to Shelburne, VT, we also know that there are other trucks out there vying for your attention, including one flashy newcomer - the new Jeep Gladiator. We've compared the new Jeep model to our stalwart Colorado, however, and we think you'll agree that newer is not always better.

 JEEP GLADIATOR

THE CHEVY COLORADO VS. THE JEEP GLADIATOR
  •   Design options. Chevrolet knows that drivers like options, and they deliver them with all of their models, including the Colorado. As mentioned, this pickup is available as either a four-door crew cab with full-sized backseat, or as an extended cab with smaller backseat. Plus, there are two different bed length options available as well. The Jeep Gladiator, on the other hand, is only available as a crew cab, and it has no bed options available, taking away that choice from drivers.
  •   Performance and powertrains. Another area where the Colorado presents drivers with multiple choices is in the engine under the hood. The Colorado is available with your choice of either a 200-horsepower four-cylinder engine, a 308-horsepower V6 engine, or an efficient, 181-horsepower diesel turbo four-cylinder. If you're looking at the Gladiator, however, you only get one engine and no options, as each model is powered solely by a V6 engine that's rated for 285 horsepower.
  •   Technology. In some areas of comparison, the Colorado and the Gladiator come out similarly. For example, both have a nice maximum towing capacity of more than 7,000 pounds. But, the Colorado offers more tech features, with such standard amenities as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which Jeep drivers need to move up in trim levels to get.
