We'll help you delve into each model a little deeper to discover the best one for you.
THE GMC SIERRA 1500

THE GMC SIERRA 1500
When you're looking for a powerful vehicle that offers the utility of a truck, with the high-quality interior of a luxury car, let us introduce you to our new GMC Sierra 1500. Here are a couple of tidbits that help might help you choose this model over the Silverado:

  •     Innovative tailgate. Several GMC Sierra 1500 trim levels come standard with a unique system GMC calls the Multipro Tailgate. This state-of-the-art feature allows the driver to configure how they want their tailgate to work and function, with nearly a dozen different ways to change it.
  •     Convenient retractable steps. Another innovative feature exclusive to the GMC Sierra 1500 is the optional side steps. These steps can pivot and retract, making them useful for a variety of purposes.
  •     Bed options. The GMC Sierra 1500 and the Chevy Silverado 1500 both have three different bed lengths for drivers to choose from, but if you need a little more space, the Sierra beds are a little larger than the Silverado options. For example, a regular bed for the Sierra measures 6 feet 7 inches long, while the Silverado truck's regular bed is 6 feet 5 inches long.
THE CHEVY SILVERADO 1500
Legendary Chevrolet quality and power are the name of the game with the similarly-sized Silverado 1500. Like the GMC Sierra 1500, it offers Essex, VT and Colchester, VT drivers a variety of options for trims, power, and bed lengths, with its own special strengths that some drivers prefer over the other model. Here are some of the highlights that might make you want to choose this truck over the Sierra:

  •     Interior space. As a four-door crew cab truck, both trucks offer the same amount of headroom and legroom. But, if you prefer the extended cab style with smaller backseat, you might like the little bit of extra legroom that the Silverado offers over the Sierra double cab, as the Chevy has an inch more backseat legroom than the GMC.
  •     Trim configurations. If you like to have a lot of choices at your fingertips, the Chevy Silverado 1500 gives them to you. There are eight well-equipped and versatile trims for drivers to choose from for this truck, allowing you to customize your ride to suit your specific needs. The GMS Sierra 1500, on the other hand, has slightly fewer trim options, with six configurations available.
  •     Off-road prowess. The GMC Sierra 1500 is great if you want a comfortable ride on I-89 or many of Vermont's rural roads, but if you prefer to take your truck off the beaten path for some off-road riding, the Silverado is the way to go. Both trucks offer luxuriously equipped and comfortable trims, but only the Silverado has the Trail Boss trim and Custom Trail Boss trim levels. These remarkable options give you standard four-wheel drive and a special-tuned suspension system for trail rides.
