If you're in the Essex, VT or Shelburne, VT area, and you're considering a new Equinox in 2020, there are a few notable changes you should know about. First of all, Chevy has discontinued the previous diesel engine that was available for this model. This leaves us with two impressive, turbocharged, gas-powered engines to choose from, both of which are fun to drive and responsive for your commute.
Also for 2020, the Equinox adds a long list of safety features standard, including:

There are several trim levels and three possible engines available to Burlington, VT drivers who are considering the 2018 Equinox. The standard engine is a 170-horsepower, turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder, while an optional engine offers 252 horsepower from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder. The third possibility is a diesel-powered 1.6-liter with 137 horsepower.
Best of all, though, depending on which of the above engines you choose, your 2018 Equinox can tow up to 3,500 pounds, which is perfect if your adventures take you snowmobiling in the winter, boating on Lake Champlain in the summer, or camping in a small pop-up camper at one of our beautiful Vermont State Parks.
